Francesca created this short film portrait after looking at Warhol's screen tests as well as films by Danny Williams and Sam Taylor-Wood.
Maya in year 13 made this film as part of a project which drew on exploring movement in painting after visiting the 'Futurism' exhibition at the Tate Modern. "I decided to create a video which experiments with symmetry and movement. It was very important to me that this worked well with the soundtrack."
It is traditional for the Lower 6th to put on a pantomime for the rest of the school, just in time for Christmas. Of course 2009 was no exception! Directed by Jess, a of 21 girls put on their own witty and light hearted version of “Dick Whittington”. Thoroughly enjoyed by both the junior and senior schools, it would seem this was one of South Hampstead’s best ‘pantos’ yet!
