Every year the Science Department organise a series of events to coincide with and celebrate the National Science and Engineering Week. We try to have something for everyone and also invite members of the public to join us.

The Chinese Year of the Tiger was celebrated in the Junior School this week.

On January 29th, 12 Year 9 girls travelled to Brighton and Hove High School to participate in the annual Trust Day of Dance.

The cake sale on Friday typified the enterprising spirit and enthusiasm of South Hampstead girls and parents alike.

On February 3rd the Lower Sixth History of Art group visited the Victoria and Albert Museum.

On Friday 29th January best selling author, Lynne Reid Banks, came to talk to girls in years 5 and 6 and to read an as yet unpublished story to year 2.

Internationally renowned musicians spent the day working with South Hampstead High School students as part of the school’s Masterclass series.
