Our masterplan, Beyond 150 sets out some of these ambitions as we look beyond our 150th anniversary in 2026 – at the centre is the need to provide the best possible facilities to support a dynamic learning environment, and the desire to extend our education to anyone with ability and potential, regardless of background or wealth.

Means-tested Bursary Awards

The Girls’ Day School Trust was founded in 1872 to provide education to all girls, regardless of background or means. Bursaries change lives and we are committed to increasing our diversity and inclusion and providing more opportunities for bright young children who cannot afford our fees. Our aim is to support three new bursary awards in our anniversary year and to offer financial awards to at least 1 in 10 of our girls in the future.

At the very top of the Senior School, we plan to create a vibrant, green space that brings nature into daily school life: a biodiverse setting for outdoor learning, sensory exploration, shared converation and creative inspiration.

On the lower levels of the school, we are set to transform existing space into a modern gym and wellness studio. These new facilities will offer flexibile inclusive spaces for physical activity, mindfulness and emotional wellbeing.

Opportunity

The Partnership Programme

Our partnerships help staff and students from across the country share experience and learn from each other. The award winning Debate Hub programme has promoted the art of public speaking and oracy to 1,000’s of state school pupils and our Saturday Sparks initiatives, teaching exchange programmes and volunteering opportunities have broadened horizons for 100’s of staff and pupils.

We rely on external sponsorship and donations to sustain these programmes. Your support can secure them into the future.
