Aspirational futures

Every student has the right to an aspirational future
  • In the pandemic, we have opened up online learning, careers sessions and speaker events to more pupils in the community
  • We offer mock interviews to partner school students applying for Oxbridge, Medicine and Veterinary Science
  • Our careers team provide guidance on the UCAS process for local schools setting up their own Sixth Forms
  • Our subject specialists collaborate with various schools across the UK to help develop their departments

Social action

Encouraging pupils to develop new skills and take the lead
  • From Camden to Calcutta, all our students have numerous opportunities to volunteer, to give back and to make a difference
  • The school community is also committed to ensuring sustainable, positive environmental change and was recently recognised with a national eco award

Academic curiosity

Helping our pupils and partner schools find their voice
  • Picking up this year’s national Oracy Culture Award, South Hampstead was commended for its inclusive approach and for fostering a genuine sense of community with ‘Debate Hub’: a mutually enriching partnership with local state schools
  • Our teachers provide French, Latin and Spanish lessons to local primary pupils and recently secured a government grant to open a special languages library at the school

In a time of unique challenges and opportunities, it’s important our young women are empowered to make a difference.
