Our fees for Autumn Term 2021

  • Junior School - £5,309 per term
  • Senior School - £6,498 per term

In light of the pandemic, and as part of our commitment to support families in every way possible, a decision was made to freeze tuition fees for the 2020/21 academic year and the autumn term 2021.  From January 2022, termly fees will be £5,466 per term in the Junior School and £6,690 per term in the Senior School. Please note that school lunches are charged separately (£239.40 per term from September 2021). Charges also apply for occasional trips and visits as well as optional extras, such as snacks at break time.

Payment of fees

Fees may be paid annually or termly in advance, or by monthly instalments (four per term) by Direct Debit to the Girls’ Day School Trust. GDST also operates a prepaid fees scheme for a minimum term of two years. Details are available on request.

Entrance administration fee and registration deposit

A non-refundable fee of £150 is charged for taking the entrance examination. A registration deposit is payable on the acceptance of a place and will be retained until the pupil leaves the school. The deposit will not be refunded if the place is not taken up.

Fees for music lessons

Fees for music lessons are £290 per cycle of ten 35-minute lessons. Visiting music teachers are self-employed; contracts for music tuition are made between parents and the teacher concerned. The school has no involvement with the contract and parents are billed directly by their daughter’s visiting music teacher(s). Fees should be settled before the start of each term and one term’s written notice should be given directly to the teacher when a girl wishes to discontinue music lessons, otherwise fees for one cycle of ten lessons will be payable in lieu.

South Hampstead gave me the confidence to talk, argue, laugh and fight as an equal with some of the most brilliant minds of my generation.
