Festive Giving

Pupils, staff and parents have supported so many volunteering, fundraising and social action initiatives this term.

Thanks to donations from the whole school community, pupils packed up vanloads of food and clothes for our local JW3 foodbank and The Passage homelessness charity, as well as sack loads of Christmas gifts for families in Brent supported by St Raphael’s Family Wellbeing Centre. Our pupils have given their time too this term, whether volunteering with Spear Camden to support those facing significant barriers to employment; helping at our local Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre; wrapping gifts for Norwood, who support neurodiverse children and their families; supporting local care home residents; or baking cakes for single mums at The Winch.  Meanwhile, charity fundraising initiatives this term have included sales from our House Bake Off, non-uniform days, and a raffle organised by one of our Year 8 classes. Thank you to the whole community for their incredible support and generosity.

Our Deputy Head Girl for Charities, Freya, commented: “We are proud to support such a range of charities who continue making a huge difference at this difficult time of year as it gets colder and darker. Thanks to the efforts of the whole school community, we are able to bring more light into the lives of those in need.”
