Sport Highlights

The 2026 sporting year has begun with medals and trophies galore.

Having recently been named one of the top schools in the UK for cricket, our next generation of players continues to impress. Our U12 team were crowned champions at Lord’s last month, while the U13 team finished in an excellent third place. Meanwhile, our netball teams are progressing strongly through the rounds of the Sisters n Sport competition — congratulations to the U16 squad who have reached the National Finals’ Day in Loughborough next month. Our Year 7 football team also continues its winning streak, recording impressive victories against Godolphin & Latymer and Francis Holland.

Our ski team ventured to the French Alps last month and achieved the school’s best ever results at the British Schoolgirls’ Races in Flaine. 11 skiers from Years 7 to 10 raced with tremendous confidence and courage, securing seven individual medals, while our A Team was crowned Best Overall School Team.  Back in the UK, a dozen swimmers from the Junior and Senior Schools represented us at the GDST Swimming Gala in Guildford, bringing home both a silver and a bronze medal.

Cross-country runners delivered strong performances at the LSAA Championships, despite challenging muddy conditions, and our second cohort of GCSE PE students have been working hard in their chosen disciplines, with many pupils confidently scaling new heights in rock climbing.
