Outstanding GCSE Success

Congratulations to our students on another record-breaking year of GCSE results.

Year 11 pupils celebrated the school’s highest ever percentage of top grades on GCSE results day. Students excelled in this year’s exams, with over 62% of all grades awarded 9s and 84% of all grades 8/9s. 58 girls achieved straight 8/9s. Beyond the headline statistics, the cohort has also contributed to school life in numerous other ways, whether performing with the National Youth Orchestra, winning national netball and cricket titles, debating at the Oxford Union, or staging trailblazing plays.

Mrs Paul commented: “These outstanding results are testament to the hard work and commitment of all our girls and staff – many congratulations to Year 11 on their well-earned success. I am so proud of our students and delighted to see this year group prepare to embark on their Sixth Form studies with us. They are an integral part of an incredibly exciting chapter at South Hampstead as we open our 150th anniversary year with such stellar achievements at A Level and GCSE. Well done, everyone, and I look forward to a poignant and celebratory year ahead.”
