More than fifty pupils in Years 7 to 9 were involved in this year’s spectacular Lower School Production.
In a modern adaptation of Sophocles’ tragedy, Waterlow Hall was transformed into the city of Thebes, engulfed in a battle between honour and power. Both on stage and behind the scenes, pupils delivered two poised performances – all the more impressive given the final night was staged after a sunny and energetic sports day. The girls captured the deeply moving themes and sophisticated content with great wisdom and maturity. Well done to everyone involved.
