Creative Competitions

Congratulations to all students who took part in the New York trip photography and sketchbook competitions.

A photography exhibition featuring the entries has been lighting up the school’s art gallery, bursting with imaginative documentary work alongside bold, experimental, manipulated, and surreal images that capture the excitement and spirit of our half-term trip to the Big Apple. Best in Show was awarded to Minna for her haunting mordançage reprints created from photographs taken throughout the trip, while Teah was Highly Commended for her beautifully crafted black-and-white portfolio. Runners-up Eva, Isabel, Izzy, Myla, and Nastya were also awarded prizes for their exceptional, creative work.

Congratulations as well to Isabel for winning first prize in the New York sketchbook competition, with a visually rich and engaging entry that documented her October visit to the city. Well done to everyone involved for their enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment – a fantastic achievement all round!
