House Activities
This term’s events have included House quizzing, debating and Maths – plus a highly competitive staff House netball match.
Our House system, named after four former Heads, engenders an inimitable sense of competitive camaraderie and encourages girls to forge friendships across the year groups, with bonding over inter-year House breakfasts and fun-filled activities. This term, the girls have won points for their Houses by showcasing their mathematical dexterity, oracy skills and general knowledge, whilst staff embraced a challenging quiz contest and prepared for arguably the hottest ticket of the House calendar: staff House netball.
Teachers and support staff – with varying degrees of netball aptitude and experience – galvanised hundreds of very enthusiastic spectators to the sidelines of the sports hall this week for another memorable lunchtime spectacle. Well done to our student umpires, who made a valiant effort to keep their teachers in check, and to Potter for the win.
The activities continue next term with spelling bees, dodgeball, dance and sports day and more as our Houses vie for the coveted end of year trophy.
