Work Experience

From finance and engineering to marketing, law, consultancy and beyond, we are expanding student work experience opportunities.

Since 2022, we have partnered with global asset management firm Lazard, offering students a unique insight into professional life. The programme includes office visits, working lunches and conversations with industry experts. Following a competitive application process, selected students go on to complete a week-long placement, tackling real projects, attending meetings and presenting to senior leaders. Alumna Florence Haddad (Class of 2022) was among the first to take part in the scheme. She went on to complete a summer internship with Lazard while studying at Cambridge,  and has now secured a full-time role as an Equity Analyst.

My short placement proved pivotal—it introduced me to asset management, inspiring people, and sparked a genuine interest in the industry.

We are now looking to build similar partnerships across a range of industries and will host an informational event with Lazard early next term.
