Physics Olympiad
GCSE and A Level Physics students have excelled in national challenges that recognise talented young Physicists.
The British Physics Olympiad Senior Challenge is designed to stretch students’ problem-solving skills and encourage them to apply fundamental physical principles to novel situations, with over 6000 students taking part each year. Many congratulations to our Lower Sixth Physicists, Juliette and Rosie, who were awarded Gold certificates; Chiara and Erin, who were awarded Silver; and Ivona and Sahar, who took Bronze. Chiara, Erin, Rosie and Sahar also excelled in a team practical challenge and took Silver for their efforts.
Meanwhile, Year 11 students took part in the Intermediate Challenge, with similarly impressive results. Well done to those awarded Gold (Ava-Juliana and Grace), Silver (Jiamu, Ksenia, Margarita and Sofia) and Bronze 1 (Alice, Noor and Sofiia) and Bronze 2 (Katie, Lily, Lottie, Maya, and Samiha).
