Stellar GCSEs

Students were celebrating the school’s highest ever percentage of grade 9s as they collected their GCSE results today.

Year 11 pupils excelled in this year’s GCSE exams, with 60% of all grades awarded 9s – the highest ever percentage of the very top grades at South Hampstead – and over 82% of all grades 8/9s. A third of the cohort achieved nine or more grade 9s and over half our students were awarded straight 8/9s.

Mrs Paul commented: “I congratulate Year 11 wholeheartedly on their incredible achievements! Following our best A Level results in a decade this year, it is wonderful to see our Year 11 girls rewarded with even more record-breaking top grades. These fantastic results are testimony to the tremendous spirit, drive and determination of our students and the commitment and expertise of our staff. I look forward to witnessing the next steps for our Year 11 pupils as they commence exciting new chapters in our Sixth Form.”
