Wrapped 2024/25

Hundreds of pupils showcased some of the many highlights and achievements of the past academic year.

Following last year’s inaugural Wrapped extravaganza, named by former students, the community once again came together to celebrate the rich tapestry of school life. Parents were welcomed by our pupil-led ukulele orchestra before enjoying a tour around classrooms, studios and exhibition spaces to see pupil work across all subjects – from live debates, netball and science experiments, to academic discussions, presentations and creative displays. Guests also attended a ceremony, deftly compèred by our Head Girl Team, featuring spectacular music, dance, drama, performance and the awarding of pupil prizes. In true South Hampstead style, there was a typically eclectic and vibrant array of work on stage, including Shakespeare, Bach, Greek tragedy, cheerleading and a student speech on the contribution of proton tunnelling on DNA mutation – with a live Q&A and impressive audience participation. The ceremony closed with our Year 10 band performing the theme tune from Friends.

With thanks to the Friends of South Hampstead (FOSH), who generously sponsored the refreshments in Waterlow Hall, and everyone who contributed to the evening: a fitting tribute to the school’s pervasive ethos of joyful scholarship at the end of another action-packed year.

Photos from the evening are available on Firefly.
