Upper Sixth Leavers

We bid the Class of 2025 a very fond farewell ahead of their A Level exams.

As our Upper Sixth students prepared to embark on study leave, they marked their final week in school together with plenty of fun-filled celebrations. A different fancy dress theme was embraced each day; girls dressed as their degrees (featuring some stylish Geographers’ garb), donned outfits to represent their first dream job (including pilots with planes, fairies, and even an entire vineyard) and creative interpretations of British icons, with fish and chips making an appearance alongside Ali G and Claudia Winkleman. Their final day together involved a special leavers’ assembly with an emotional rendition of the school song followed by a lunchtime showing of the cohort’s ‘retrospective’ with skits about school life in the style of The Office.  After enjoying a celebratory lunch, students signed their yearbooks and each others’ yellow shirts and bid a fond farewell to their teachers.

Mrs Paul added: “I will always remember this year group for their sheer vitality combined with deep-rooted warmth and kindness – and for persuading Ms Brass and I to don imitation pink fur coats and sunglasses for their retrospective show – which is certainly one for the school archives. We wish our girls the best of luck in their exams and every success and happiness in all that they go on to do; they will always have a home here at South Hampstead.”

We look forward to giving the Class of 2025 a proper send off at their valedictory ceremony and leavers’ ball next month and wish them well for their A Levels and beyond.
