FT Student Advocates

Two A Level Geographers have been selected for the Financial Times Student Advocate Programme.

Over the course of this term and next, Rosa in the Lower Sixth and Cicely in the Upper Sixth will complete a range of tasks guided by a mentor, engaging with FT journalism and connecting with other young people from around the world. As well as building leadership, communication and critical thinking skills, they will have the opportunity to represent student perspectives. The Financial Times’ programme, sponsored by Nomura, is open to Sixth Form students from across the globe; it aims to support young readers to grow as leaders, collaborators and communicators and gain experience that supports their future academic and career goals.
