Honorary Alumnae Coffee Morning

We were delighted to welcome back former staff for our Honorary Alumnae Coffee Morning.

Doris Hugh, former Head of Modern Foreign Languages and Sixth Form, reports on a wonderful morning in the Burgess Room.

This year, more former colleagues joined us, including Sally Fanning, former Head of DT, Coco Stevenson, former Head of Sixth, and Angela Boyle, former Head of PSHE.  Mrs Paul welcomed guests and shared news of our 150th anniversary campaign launch before resuming her busy schedule; the room buzzed with lively conversations, reflecting how interconnected the teaching world is. Rosemary Emanuel commented: “There are so many interesting chats, so many different connections – from Barbara Fiddler, whom I taught as a girl, to Jo Coates, with whom I taught at St Paul’s, as well as discussions on Resplendens, hearing about DT and South Hampstead High School news…”

The morning was further enriched by current staff, including Lucy Raitz, Pam Morgan, Victoria Boyarsky, Gail Ashwell, and Sara Bell, who added to the warm atmosphere. Barbara Fiddler reflected: “You are all so warm and welcoming, and it is lovely coming across past colleagues. I have always felt a part of this school community.”

The event was a huge success, and we are already looking forward to next year.
