Psychology Silver

A Level Psychology students claimed second place in a national competition.

Five Lower Sixth Psychologists attended The National Psychology Competition at Royal Holloway (University of London), tasked with addressing the question: How can we make communities stronger and healthier using Psychology? The girls worked together to create a poster and video to showcase their thinking, focusing on echo chambers, Allport’s Contact Hypothesis, and choice architecture to attempt to solve the problem and even conducted their own primary research around community seating. The students did brilliantly to achieve second place out of over 60 teams.
