Hampstead Arts Festival
Sunday 21st December

The festival concludes this year at South Hampstead with brilliance and exuberance. Join us for a ‘Romantic Revolution’ with works by Fanny Mendelssohn, Huw Watkins and Schumann.  Find full details of the programme and book your tickets below.  Under 16’s go free.

Speaker Series Debate

Save the date for our first Speaker Series Debate where pupils will explore the role of AI in education alongside leading public experts.

Martin Lewis
Friday 30th January

Martin Lewis from MoneySavingExpert joins us to share his advice and discuss female financial literacy and university finance with Sixth Form pupils. This event is open to partner schools and GDST pupils online.

Junior PTA Quiz Night

South Hampstead Chorale
Monday Evenings

The South Hampstead Chorale is conducted by Director of Music, Mrs Sophie Ellis, and is open to parents, alumnae and friends.  The choir sings at concerts throughout the year.  Please contact e.jones@shhs.gdst.net for further details.

Friends of South Hampstead (FOSH) are excited to invite you to the annual wine tasting. Open to all parents and friends, this is a fun social evening in the run up to the festive season with all proceeds going to the school projects.

The Speaker Series

150th Campaign Launch

A champagne reception, the launch of our 150th Anniversary Campaign and a chance to meet our special guests, Jim Carter OBE, Dame Imelda Staunton and their daughter Bessie Carter. The reception will be followed by the Speaker Series ‘in conversation’ event.

GDST Speaker Series
Monday 1st September

Join us for an evening with GDST alumna Baroness Manningham-Buller, a distinguished figure in international security and former Director General of MI5. Eliza will reflect on what she has learned from her career, on leadership, working under pressure, navigating uncertainty and ambiguity and remaining resilient.

Drinks from 6.30pm for Keynote address at 7pm. The event will take place in a central London location close to South Hampstead HIgh School, which, for security reasons, will be shared one week prior to the evening.

South Hampstead Wrapped

The second edition of South Hampstead Wrapped, an event that brings our entire school community together to celebrate all of our achievements and most exciting moments from across the year.
