Alumnae Artists

Thank you to our alumnae artists who kindly donated their artwork to raise funds for our bursary campaign.

Three acclaimed artists and former pupils – Lydia Goldblatt and Lucy Levene (both class of 1996) and Chloe Manesseh (class of 2008) – generously provided works for our Opening Doors Bursary Dinner auction, which resulted in pledges and donations of over £250,000; the funds will go towards supporting more bursary places for bright young women.

Chloe is based in Singapore and works between Europe and Asia. Her work has been exhibited in the USA, UK, Italy, Israel and Singapore, and has collaborated extensively with artists, musicians, clothing and interior designers on various projects around the world. Her donated print ‘Petals Fall Now, and Then’ is a limited edition print.

Lydia donated an editioned printed called ‘Still Here’ and a signed art book.  Both are part of her award-winning exhibition which is held in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum National Art Library. Lydia was shortlisted for the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2020, the international photography award organised by London’s National Portrait Gallery.

Lucy is also an artist and photographer. Her work has been published and exhibited internationally with shows in London, New York and Europe.  She donated the print ‘Bed Portrait #3’ which is from her new collection and debuted on the auction site.
