A Year 9 student has won a national art competition, beating hundreds of entries from across the country.
The annual YPO Art Competition has been running for 8 years, celebrating the artistic talents of primary and secondary school children. Chloe won the overall prize across all three age categories with her stunning drawing using pencil and charcoal, pictured above. She was presented with goodie bags filled with art supplies and the Art Department received a £250 voucher.
Head of Art, Ms Bluck, commented: “It’s wonderful to see Chloe’s creativity recognised – and we are grateful for the gift voucher, which will be put to good use fostering more pupils’ talents.”
