Biology Medals

Half of our Sixth Form students who took part in the British Biology Olympiad were awarded medals this year.

A Level students took part in this year’s Biology Olympiad – a challenging competition that aims to test knowledge and thinking beyond the curriculum as well as the ability to work under time pressure.  Over 13,000 students from 800 schools worldwide took part in this year’s national competition.  Well done to all our students who entered, with a special mention to our bronze medallists, Anastasia, Duru, Kaelyn, Mariella and Momo, and silver medallists,  Maddy, Jenny, Scarlett and Sophia. Those awarded bronze medals represent the top 15% of all entrants, while silver medallists represent the top 10% in the UK.
