Three Sixth Form Classicists have been recognised for their academic excellence in this year’s GDST Pearson & Silver Awards.
Each year, the Girls’ Day School Trust Pearson & Silver committee award a number of prizes based on academic excellence in classical subjects, commitment to studying a classical subject at university, and contribution to school life. This year, twelve prizes were awarded nationally, including three to South Hampstead students. Congratulations to Juliana, Sophia and Tasneem in the Lower Sixth on their certificates of distinction, and to Juliana for winning this year’s top prize: the coveted Nancy Silver Award. The awards help to support the cost of attending summer courses with a classical content.
