Year 7 and 8 footballers competed in the South East Independent Schools’ Football Association tournament this month.
The U13s played extremely well against some strong teams and won their last match 2 -1 against City of London School for Girls. Rose in Year 7 was goalscorer for the match, but the entire team worked hard to defend and deflect several shots. Well done to all.
Football, the fastest-growing women’s sport, is now one of our key sports at South Hampstead, with girls across the school developing their skills and competing with increasing confidence and prowess.
