GDST Sports Rally

Being part of the Girls’ Day School Trust enables our pupils to compete in a range of sports against their sister schools.

Last week, over 500 girls joined the Autumn Rally at Croydon High School. Our swimmers enjoyed a great day out and swam fantastically in their preferred strokes, with Lillian in Year 10, Alice, Noa, Sasha and Hannah in Year 9, and Ariella in Year 8 representing the school. Congratulations to Alice, who placed first in her heat, and went on to win bronze in the U14 backstroke final.

Meanwhile, our new U12 netball squad got off to a great start. Up against some strong competition, they lost only two games in the heats, placing them sixth overall in a field of 21 teams from all over the country. Well done to everyone involved.
