Gym & Dance

Our gymnasts and dancers have started the year with some fantastic performances, including team gold in a London regional competition.

Our U14 advanced gym squad competed in the British Schools Gymnastics Association (BSGA) Floor and Vault London Regionals this month; up against strong opposition, the elite gymnasts delivered strong individual floor routines and vaulting skills to the take first place in the B Team category.

In dance, Tanzlicht’s first competition of the year was the highly competitive ‘Great Big Dance Off’ at the Beck Theatre in Hayes, where the girls achieved 7th place out of over 40 impressive routines. Meanwhile, our Year 7 & 8 Diamond Dance Squad gave an outstanding, contemporary performance at the Camden Schools’ Dance competition, placing them second overall.

Well done to all our gymnasts and dancers. We look forward to the annual Gym & Dance Show next month – an opportunity for 175 pupils of all ages to showcase their talents.
