Mitzvah Day

The school community supported Mitzvah Day again this year, donating to a local foodbank and creating cards for the families receiving food parcels.

Each year we support Mitzvah Day – a day of social action where people come together to show kindness, give back and make a difference to the local community.  The initiative was founded by a former South Hampstead pupil, Laura Marks OBE.

We are grateful to everyone for their generous donations, delivered to the JW3 foodbank this week, in a bid to help combat local food poverty. Students and staff also made hundreds of uplifting greetings cards to be distributed to the families receiving deliveries. The efforts of our whole school community – pupils, parents, staff and alumnae – were recognised in the Ham & High.
