Sense & Sensibility

This year’s main school production was a playful adaptation of Austen’s first published novel.

With Waterlow Hall transformed into a Regency-style house, the audience was transported to the gossipy world of 18th-century England, following the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters. Over 30 cast and crew from Year 9 to the Sixth Form staged an incredible three-night run; congratulations to everyone involved in the ‘wonderfully diverting’ performances which were full of humour, emotional depth, and bold theatricality.
