South Hampstead Wrapped

We ended the year with a whole school community event to celebrate the achievements of the past year.

Senior School pupils, parents and staff assembled for an inaugural summer event, South Hampstead Wrapped, named by our 2023/24 Head Girl Team in homage to Spotify: a unique compilation of some of the many wonderful highlights that have defined the rich tapestry of the academic year.  The event brought the community together, showcased the breadth and diversity of school life, and acknowledged a range of individual and collaborative achievements.

Friends of South Hampstead (FOSH) generously sponsored the welcome refreshments in Waterlow Hall, as guests visited art and design exhibitions and enjoyed music performances in the atrium. In a transformed sports hall, music, dance, drama and public speaking performances were interspersed with snapshots of South Hampstead life, the awarding of pupil prizes, and even a special guest appearance by some former Headmistresses, thanks to the power of AI.  The evening ended with a specially penned song, Mehr Licht, written for the event by Deputy Head Girl, Katie, performed with her band. Thank you to everyone – particularly our Head Girl Team compères and dozens of performers – who all contributed to make the event such a joyous and memorable finale to year.
