Sustainable Partnerships

Staff and pupils continue to develop links with our neighbouring primary school, with a communal eco garden and outreach Science teaching.

Thanks to the generosity of our Junior School PTA, a small plot of land at the Senior School, backing onto Holy Trinity Primary School next door, is being redeveloped to create a shared garden. The aim is for pupils from both schools to get outdoors and work together to learn more about nature and sustainability. Our Junior School Eco Council, a team of passionate environmentalists from Year 5 and 6, recently met with Holy Trinity’s eco representatives to visit the site and start planning what to plant in order to attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

Our Junior School teachers are also running an after-school Science Club for Holy Trinity, hosting Year 5 and 6 pupils in our Junior School Science lab. Assisted by four of our Sixth Formers, the budding Scientists are learning about sustainable energy sources and building their own wind turbines.

Through our Project Zero initiative, we look forward to establishing more meaningful partnerships in the community and expanding the reach of our sustainability programme to inspire more future changemakers and global citizens.
