The script for this year’s drama production was written with creative input from members of the cast.
The cast and crew from Years 9 to 11, supported by assistant directors and Sixth Form Drama Scholars Katie and Paloma, staged a fantastic two-night run of The Duke in Waterlow Hall. Drama Teacher Ms Bent wrote the script in collaboration with the students, and Anya in Year 10 oversaw the tech. The fast-paced, episodic play explores the trials and tribulations of teenage life in a girls’ school, as pupils balance friendships, social media and the excitement of the ‘deeovee’ Duke of Edinburgh award! Congratulations to everyone on stage and behind the scenes for two such entertaining and relatable performances.
