Year 6 Graduation

Year 6 had not one but three very special ceremonies to mark the end of their Junior School years, streamed live from Waterlow Hall.

With social distancing precluding their usual end of year celebrations, our three Year 6 bubbles assembled for a poignant trio of graduation ceremonies, live streamed to family and friends.

The girls sang beautiful renditions of Old School Days, One Day at a Time and an Elton John medley and took their turns on stage, where Ms Spencer delivered a short tribute to each pupil, summing up their achievements and announcing prizes for Art, Drama, English, Maths, Music and Sport and the Scott Cup and South Hampstead spirit awards. Ms Spencer thanked them all for being such excellent role models and reminded them of the importance of being kind, both to themselves and to others.

Mrs Bingham praised the girls for their resilience throughout a rather strange final term, encouraging them to look forward to an exciting and fulfilling new chapter at the Senior School. Paraphrasing Aristotle,  she reminded them all to ensure that they are more than passive observers on the journey: “Happiness depends on ourselves.”

Congratulations to all our Junior School graduates; we look forward to seeing them continue to flourish as they move up to the Senior School in September.
