Art Scholar Designs

Our Sixth Form Art Scholars have been creating new works for the school community and beyond.

Each year, our pupil diaries are designed by talented artists: our students, past and present. The renowned graphic designer, alumna Aries Moross, is one of the artists whose designs have featured in recent years. The latest pupil diary front cover was created by former Sixth Form Art Scholar Misha, who left South Hampstead last year, inspired by her passion for environmental issues; she is currently studying an art foundation course at Central Saint Martins, specialising in graphic communication, and plans to pursue a degree in illustration.

Another design, by one of our current Sixth Form Art Scholars, was created for the school’s new tote bags. Amelia created the drawing of the Senior School building, which features on eco-friendly bags used at events for current and prospective families; the bag also highlights our new school values: Aspiration, Creativity, Kindness, Courage and Commitment. Deputy Head Girl Zoya, also an Art Scholar, has created designs for school postcards.

South Hampstead offers a number of Sixth Form Art Scholarships each year – find out more and how to apply.
