Class of 2017 Reunion

The civil service, fintech, healthcare, fine arts and film… just some of the areas our former pupils are now working in.

As our leavers from 2017 enter the world of work, it was a joy to welcome them back, as they mark five years since they left South Hampstead. The five-year reunion is always a happy event, as friends are reunited and catch up on news since leaving school. It is also a wonderful for us to find out what further studies and careers our alumnae are pursuing, and encourage them to make the most of the resources we can offer to support them in the future. The South Hampstead Linked-in group now has more than 1,500 members and is a great platform for alumnae looking to network and make connections with other members of our community. The wider GDST family offers a whole range of networking events, giving access to more than 70,000 alumnae around the UK and beyond through GDST Life.

The ‘Class of 2017’ has a special place at the school  – not only were they a cohort who thrived in three different school locations, as we completed the redevelopment of the Senior School, but they were also the very first group whose parents donated to support future bursary pupils as a legacy to their time at the school.  We hope that one day, they will join their parents to support the ‘Class of 2017′ Bursary – our fundraising initiative that encourages year groups of former pupils to fund a full-fee paying place for a bursary pupil.

In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming them back again soon and hearing about their next steps as they go on to make their mark in the world.
