Cross Country Runners
Both our Junior and Senior School runners have been striding out with some fantastic results in their first races after the half term break.
At the Keble races, girls ran under blue skies to secure individual wins in both the U11 and U13 events, as well as clinching second place in the U9 and U11 team events and winning the cup in the U13 team event. The same week, they were off running again in the Belmont relays – a six-leg team event of the school’s ‘Oti’ course, a 2km race through woodland terrain. Year 7 and Year 8 runners made up the U13 squads – a great team effort with strong individual runs. Junior School runners followed with their relay the next day, with the U11A team finishing in second place overall. A great display of running, testament to the girls’ determination, training on Hampstead Heath and at after-school Cross-country Club.
