London School of the Year

South Hampstead has been commended in the ‘London School of the Year’ category of the 2026 Independent Schools of the Year Awards.

The awards attract hundreds of entries each year and aim to celebrate the very best in education and student experience in UK independent schools. South Hampstead previously won the accolade of Independent Girls’ School of the Year in 2022 and was been a finalist in the London School of the Year category in 2024. The London award was created to celebrate leading schools who make the most of their location and give back to the wider metropolitan community.  South Hampstead is one of twenty schools being considered for the shortlist which will be announced next term. This year, a record number of entries were received, so it is a wonderful tribute to the efforts of the whole school community to be recognised as one of the top schools in the capital.
