The Winter Penguin

Our Sixth Form editorial team have published another online edition of The Penguin in lockdown.

The tidal-themed winter issue encapsulates the ebbs and flows of life in lockdown in true South Hampstead spirit – with great insight, intelligence and verve.

The latest bumper edition is filled with articles ranging from poetry to robots and book reviews to electronic music, accompanied by impressive illustrations and photography.  It features an interview with BBC radio presenter and South Hampstead alumna, Suzy Klein; a debate on ‘lived experience’;  and a Q&A with the History Department. Students also explore the exams injustice, feminist issues and Black Lives Matter as well as plenty more irreverent topics.

Congratulations to the editors – Sonja, Liana, Sydney, Megan and Penelope – and their contributors from across the school for producing another great lockdown read.
