Upper Sixth students have received offers from world-leading destinations, including Oxbridge, Ivy League universities and top music conservatoires.
Each year, our students receive offers from some of the world’s leading destinations, including top medical schools, international universities, and prestigious art schools. 18% of the cohort received Oxbridge offers this year: six from Cambridge and eight from Oxford, to read subjects ranging from Biochemistry, Engineering and Materials Science to Classics, English and History of Art. So far, two students have ‘early offer’ places at top US destinations – Yale and Cornell – with further outcomes still to follow. One of our Music Scholars received offers from four top music conservatoires, including a full scholarship from the Royal College of Music. Other offers to date include places at Bristol, Edinburgh, King’s College, SOAS, St Andrews and UCL as well as destinations further afield, including the University of Melbourne.
The school’s comprehensive Futures Programme is headed up by a team of experts who offer bespoke advice and one-to-one support, including preparation for Oxbridge and international universities, as well as advising on gap year opportunities, in a rapidly changing landscape. Director of Sixth Form Mr White commented: “Despite the challenges of the last two years, our students have secured offers to study at their top choice destinations, testament to their hard work and positive attitude. This cohort are going on to pursue an exciting array of subjects and I look forward to hearing about what they go on do to next.”
