Giving Back

Pupils from the Junior School to the Sixth Form are committing to support our bursary campaign.

Every day brings a new surprise at the school and today it came from four Year 1 pupils; as part of their 6th birthday celebrations, the girls elected to raise money for the South Hampstead Bursary Campaign. It was wonderful to see this demonstration of kindness and support as we seek to provide more transformative bursaries in our community.

At the other end of the school, we have recently invited our leaving parents to support the Class of 2024 Bursary Campaign, either by transferring the original registration deposit made when their daughter joined the school, or by making a donation to our bursary funds. As they leave the school, our Upper Sixth students are welcomed into the GDST and South Hampstead alumnae communities. There are over 100,000 women in our alumnae network: a wonderful resource providing support beyond school. The Class of 2024 appeal is the first opportunity they have to create a legacy to their time at the school, by coming together to fund a bursary student through their Sixth Form journey.

It is inspiring to see our pupils – from the Junior School to the Sixth Form – leading the way through their generosity and commitment to our bursary scheme. Find out more about the Class of Bursaries here.
