Rock & Pop Concert

Our Music Captain organised a concert featuring rockstars from the Junior School to the Sixth Form.

Waterlow Hall was transformed into a gig venue for the night, as Sixth Former Miri assembled a variety of bands against a backdrop of special effects and lighting thanks to Sixth Form Technical Drama Scholar, Briony.  The event was compered by Head Girl, Emilie, who introduced the talented acts as they took to the stage, playing with tremendous verve to an appreciative crowd.

Miri, our Music Captain, commented: “Building on the success of previous concerts, I wanted to showcase the creativity of our pupils and prioritise bands writing their own original music. Opening the show was the fantastic ‘April Most Likely’, debuting two original songs, while Sixth Former Elodie and her band opened the second act with more amazing tracks they’d written themselves. Thank you to everyone who came to support and to everyone who played, including the house band that accompanied the soloists so well.”
