Waterlow Hall £1 million raised

On the day the Waterlow Hall re-opened following the completion of works over the summer, we also tipped over £1 million pledged and raised towards the final stage of the project. Thank you to everyone who has helped us so far.

As a result of the recent works, the Waterlow Hall now has a new ceiling with a full acoustic lining and the structure for the technical gantry is in place – but the real transformation is yet to come. We have been holding a series of receptions and breakfast drop-ins to share the development plans with parents and alumnae over the past few weeks; you can find out more about the plans for our contemporary, flexible performing arts space at www.waterlowhall.com

We need to raise a total of £3 million to complete the development of the Waterlow Hall and the race is now on to secure the remaining funds to ensure we can start the final works in July 2019. If you would like to get involved with the fundraising or join a campaign board reception event, please contact development@shhs.gdst.net.

“Waterlow Hall will be a place of inspiration for our pupils to learn, rehearse and perform. It will encourage all to stand up and be heard in an environment that matches the quality of their intellectual thinking and creative talents. It will be the very heart of the school and the shining jewel in our beautiful building.” Mrs Bingham
